Job Summary
Operate a single tractor trailer with an automatic transmission to deliver pre-sold products, rotating stock in dry and refrigerated areas, and collecting empty containers. Secure all pallets on the truck, load and return dunnage and load bars to the supplier, and complete the Daily Vehicle Inspection Report to report maintenance needs. Maintain a courteous attitude with customers and team members while ensuring product quality standards are met. A Delivery Helper assists with unloading and navigation on each route. This role requires an active CDL Class A license, a high school diploma, and at least 21 years of age. The position is full-time, hourly, and non-exempt, with a Monday through Friday schedule from 7:15 AM to 5:00 PM depending on route and workload.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- At least 21 years of age
- Active CDL Class A License in good standing
- Availability to work Monday through Friday starting at 7:15 AM; end times may vary between 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM depending on route and delivery volume
- Must be able to stoop, bend, lift, and twist regularly
- Must be able to lift approximately 55 lbs (e.g., two cases of beer)
- Must be able to operate a two-handed hand truck on inclines and stairs
- Requires frequent walking up and down stairs and inclines
- Must have sufficient vision and hearing to perform job duties safely and effectively
Desired Qualifications
- 1 year of experience operating tractor-trailers
