Job Summary
Ensure timely and precise delivery of products to local customers, including bars, restaurants, casinos, and schools by verifying contents against invoices. Properly scan merchandise, conduct pre-trip inspections, and operate the commercial vehicle safely while adhering to DOT and OSHA guidelines. Maintain clear communication with the transportation department, report issues or delays, and accurately record mileage and delivery times. Plan daily routes to optimize efficiency, handle products with care, and perform any additional duties assigned by supervisors. Requires a clean CDL Class A license, 1-2 years of commercial delivery experience, and the ability to lift up to 100 lbs.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- Clean CDL Class A license
- Minimum of 1-2 years of prior commercial delivery experience
- Food service and refer experience preferred
- Ability to lift product weighing up to 100 lbs on a consistent basis
- Ability to climb in and out of a commercial vehicle and operate in a safe manner
- Ability to walk, bend, lift on a regular basis
- Ability to stand, walk, stoop, bend, kneel, sit, operate warehouse
- Ability to use hands to handle and feel objects, perform fine finger movements, reach with hands and arms, and have the ability to see, talk, and hear
- Normal vision with or without correction and able to distinguish colors
- Fluent speech in English
- Writing and communication skills necessary to effectively carry out job functions
