Job Summary
Load and unload freight using an electric pallet jack on newer model trucks equipped with large capacity refrigerators. Drive loads from Fredericksburg, VA, to locations in Virginia and Maryland, utilizing pre-planned dispatch and the Hirschbach App to scan paperwork and receive mobile communication messages. Earn CPM for every mile dispatched during the month, with additional incentives for maintaining five or six days of availability and achieving safety performance bonuses. Enjoy heated cooled seats, automatic high beams, and lane assist sensors while operating in a fleet that offers vacation pay after one year and a comprehensive benefit package including medical, dental, vision, and a $10,000 life insurance policy.
Required Qualifications
- Must be available for five or six days of dispatch
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be able to operate an electric pallet jack
- Must be able to drive a CDL A truck
- Must be able to operate a large capacity refrigerator
- Must be able to use E-Logs
- Must be able to use the Hirschbach App
- Must be able to scan paperwork
- Must be able to receive mobile communication messages
- Must be able to drive from Fredericksburg, VA to locations in Virginia and Maryland
