Job Summary
CDL-A Dedicated truck driver position for Target. Average weekly pay ranges from $1,100 to $1,350 with 3–5 loads weekly on dry-van freight. 100% no-touch and 92% drop-and-hook freight across GA, MD, NC, TN, and VA, with home time multiple times per week. Paid orientation, time off after 6 months plus holiday pay, annual bonus up to 2% of gross pay, and a $4,000 sign-on bonus (experienced) or $2,000 (inexperienced) disbursed over the first year. Benefits include medical/dental/vision, 401(k) with company match, and military benefits. Drivers are paid mileage and on-duty hourly pay, with weekly pay and performance bonuses. Requires valid CDL-A, residence within 50 miles of Newton, NC, and participation in company-approved CDL training programs if needed.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
- Live within 50 miles of Newton, NC
- Experience: All CDL holders
- Hauling retail freight on dry van trailers
- 100% no-touch freight and 92% drop-and-hook freight
- 3-5 loads per week
- Drive within GA, MD, NC, TN and VA
- Mileage pay, plus hourly pay while on duty, not driving
- Weekly performance pay
- $4,000 sign-on bonus paid over 12 monthly payments in your first year for experienced drivers
- $2,000 sign-on bonus paid over 12 monthly payments in your first year for inexperienced drivers
- Paid orientation
- Paid time off after 6 months, plus 6 days of holiday pay per year
