Job Summary
Operate a Class A tractor-trailer safely and legally, completing pre- and post-trip inspections, monitoring hours of service, and maintaining accurate logs. Transport freight across the Florida market including Miami, Fort Myers, the Keys, Tampa, and Orlando, following assigned routes and communicating proactively with the fleet manager regarding delays. Complete three turns weekly with an average of three to five stops per load, unloading at customer locations using rollers. Perform freight handling duties including repeated lifting and sustained activity throughout the shift. Represent the client professionally at every customer location, maintain equipment cleanliness, and report mechanical issues promptly. Home weekly with a 34-hour reset; average earnings are $1,418 per week. Hiring within 75 miles of Ocala, FL, and 50 miles of Pompano Beach, FL.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License
- Minimum of 3 months of verifiable CDL-A driving experience
- Meeting all Department of Transportation qualification requirements
- Holding a current DOT medical certification
- An acceptable motor vehicle record and safety history
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen
- Compliance with all federal testing requirements throughout employment
- Physical capability to perform freight handling including repeated lifting, climbing in and out of the trailer, and sustained activity across a full shift
- Hiring within 75 miles of Ocala, FL and 50 miles of Pompano Beach, FL
