Job Summary
Conduct dedicated shuttle deliveries from Somerset, PA to West Chester, PA, hauling general freight on a day cab tractor pulling a 53' trailer. Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, ensure security and safety of the tractor and freight while adhering to all DOT regulations. Build relationships through excellent communication with customers and account managers, and handle picking up potential returns as needed based on daily manifests. Start shifts at 12PM Monday through Friday for a flat rate of $319 per day. Valid Class A license with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements are required, along with a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License
- Hazmat is required to start
- Tanker endorsement to start
- Minimum 1 year of recent tractor trailer experience
- Currently hold, or obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card
- Must be at least 21 years of age or older
- No more than three moving violations and or accidents within the last three years, subject to review
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Must be able to read, write and speak English
- Must be able to obtain and maintain TSA security clearance
