Job Summary
Operate 2021+ Freightliner automatic sleeper trucks on dedicated lanes between CA, CO, ID, and OH, hauling refrigerated produce outbound and dairy or dry goods backhaul. Maintain proper temperature control, perform pre- and post-trip inspections, and ensure compliance with all DOT regulations. Communicate load status with dispatch and report mechanical issues promptly. Flexible home time typically involves 10-15 days out with 2 days home, including a $100 clean inspection bonus at scales. No-touch freight and no lumper fees apply.
Required Qualifications
- 2 years Tractor Trailer
- Fill in for scheduled drivers or open routes as needed
- Operate safely and follow all DOT regulations
- Provide excellent customer service at delivery points
- Perform pre- and post-trip inspections
- May include some drop and hook, some live load/unload
