Job Summary
Conduct local port work and regional OTR runs across 47 states, servicing agricultural loads from Tampa ports with drop-and-hook operations. Manage hybrid schedules including dedicated vessel work requiring a Tanker endorsement and TWIC, with flexibility to run two weeks out or seven days. Operate 2022 sleeper trucks with low mileage rates and fair deadhead compensation, avoiding CA and NW states during winter. Earn an average of $1700–$1800 gross, with $25/hour detention after two hours at facilities. Maintain a clean MVR with fewer than two moving violations in the last two years and no DT fail/CH violations in 15 years.
