Job Summary
Drive new vehicles from blue-chip automotive OEMs, fleet cars, and occasionally specialty units across regional and OTR lanes using late-model trucks with advanced straps and hydraulics. Inspect every vehicle for damage, adhere to loading and unloading best practices, and communicate professionally with customers while maintaining your truck through proper maintenance and inspections. You must hold a valid Class A CDL with at least two years of commercial driving experience, including one year hauling cars, and possess an acceptable motor vehicle record. Work five days per week within Hours of Service regulations, handle physical demands like climbing and squatting, and pass a DOT physical, drug screen, and background check. Earn percentage-based pay ranging from $70,000 to $120,000 with performance bonuses, plus access to medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Be 22 years of age or older
- Possess a valid Class A CDL License from your state of residence
- Have a minimum of two (2) years of Class A Commercial Driving Experience
- Have an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record demonstrating commitment to safety
- Pass a DOT physical, drug screen, and background check that meets industry requirements
- Have or be able to obtain a TWIC card
- Be able to read, write, and speak English as required by FMCSA regulations
- Be able to handle physical demands such as sitting for long periods, walking, standing, squatting, bending, and climbing to load and secure vehicles
- Willing to work at least five (5) days per week within Hours of Service (HOS) regulation
- Take pride in your truck: keep it properly maintained and inspected
- Conscientious, reliable, sensitive to customer and Company needs: willing to inspect every vehicle, adhere to loading and unloading best practices, follow all traffic laws, avoid cargo damage, communicate professionally with customers and Company, understanding that dispatch must balance driver interests and customer commitments/performance
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum of one (1) year Car Hauling Experience preferred
- Ability to drive manual transmission preferred
