Job Summary
CDL-A driver role to operate and transport equipment for airport runway grooving projects across the United States (and occasional international sites). Responsibilities include driving equipment between job sites, helping set up machines, tanks, carts and hoses, performing basic maintenance, and participating in fabrication tasks including TIG, MIG, and STICK welding (training provided). Opportunity to learn additional welding skills and perform shop maintenance as needed. Requires ability to travel for extended periods (4-6 weeks), willingness to learn, good attendance, and compliance with security/badge requirements; standard background check and pre-employment drug screening are part of the process. Shift options include day, night, and weekends, with full benefits and travel-related support such as airfare, hotel costs, and per diem.
Required Qualifications
- MUST possess a CDL A drivers license
- MUST be able to drive manual and automatic
Additional Requirements
- Must travel 4-6 weeks at a time
- Pre-employment drug screen
- 10-year criminal background search
- Meet badging requirements at all airports and military bases
- Social Security Card required
