Job Summary
As the referent for packaging material homologation, you will collaborate closely with internal and external teams including Packaging Development, Innovation Packaging, and Toxicology to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, particularly for the Chinese market. Key responsibilities include homologating new materials, exchanging information with suppliers to identify potential impurities, maintaining a materials database, supporting innovation efforts for recycled and bio-based materials, and conducting technical and regulatory monitoring. Candidates should have a Bac+5 education and a proven background in materials science, particularly plastics.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in plastic materials
- Multi-material knowledge (glass, aluminum, etc.)
- Expertise in packaging materials and regulations
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to connect with suppliers and coordinate with labs
