CCV Insulating Operator

Job Summary
Operate a CCV line to insulate MV power cables using various plastic and rubber compounds. Responsibilities include managing Pay Offs, Accumulators, Extruders, Cure Tube Sections, Seals, and Take Ups; entering recipes to control temperatures, pressures, and extrusion/curing profiles; making product and compound changes; adjusting tooling and settings to ensure cable dimensions and sheath thickness meet specifications; starting and regulating machine speed and temperature; changing end seals and materials; setting up print quality on the cable; monitoring process variables for quality and efficiency; performing quality checks to meet UL/AEIC/ICEA and customer specs; documenting non-conforming products; entering production/quality data into SAP-based systems; maintaining cleanliness; operating a forklift; performing other duties as directed by supervisor. Floater requirements include working flexible shifts and covering vacations or leaves. Education: High school education or the equivalent.
Required Qualifications
- Previous work experience in a manufacturing environment.
- High school education or the equivalent.
