Job Summary
CCV Helper supports continuous operation on the production line by handling payoffs, splices, accumulator, seal box, and take-up; assists CCV Operator with line setup for startups and changeovers, extruder and cross-head cleaning, material retrieval, SAP entries for good/defective/scrap reels, and maintains housekeeping. Responsibilities include loading/unloading reels, loading raw materials, handling reels and tow lines (including welding/crimping), assisting with non-conforming products, monitoring line tolerance, aiding in product changeovers, installing seals, stringing production line, and ensuring a clean work area. Requires ability to read/write, perform math, follow instructions, work shifts/overtime, maintain attendance, safety compliance, teamwork, color discrimination, and forklift operation; physical requirements include substantial walking, possible stairs, and handling reels weighing 150+ pounds. Proficient with SAP and on-the-job training; role includes performing other duties as directed by supervisor.
Required Qualifications
- High school education or the equivalent
- Career Readiness Certification
- Previous work experience in a manufacturing environment
- Must be able to qualify as a forklift operator
