Assess patient conditions during admission and each scheduled shift, promptly identifying and reporting any changes in status. Perform procedures, monitor patients for therapeutic response to medications, and document care administration thoroughly. Administer prescribed medications, respond promptly to patient requests, and proactively anticipate needs to resolve issues. Educate patients, families, and caregivers about medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, side effects, and follow-up measures. Ensure complete understanding by translating complex medical terminology while acting as an advocate for patients and caregivers.
