CCTV Tap Cutter Operator

Job Summary
Utilize remote cameras and CCTV equipment to videotape inside sewer lines for inspections, then determine whether cleaning and/or repairs are needed. Reinstall service laterals after rehabilitation when required and assist in CIPP liner installations by setting up equipment. Service, adjust, and perform minor repairs to cameras and equipment as directed. Complete applicable reports, records, and related administrative tasks while maintaining accuracy and detail. This full-time, non-exempt role involves Monday through Friday work with flexibility for shift work, weekends, evenings, and holidays. Candidates must have experience as a Tap Cutter or TV Tech in the CIPP industry, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work in confined spaces under various weather conditions.
Required Qualifications
- Experience as a Tap Cutter or TV Tech in the CIPP industry
- Solid understanding and knowledge of standard field pipe rehabilitation installation procedures
- Valid driver's license in good standing consistent with company standards
- Ability to pass a DOT physical
- Ability to be accurate, detailed, reliable, and able to follow orders on projects and tasks with minimal supervision
- Ability to be proactive and troubleshoot
- Ability to complete applicable reports, records, and related administrative tasks
- Ability to perform physically demanding work for 8+ hours a day, including prolonged standing and walking, bending, and twisting
- Ability to enter confined spaces
- Ability to lift and move at least 50 lbs
- Able to work in various weather conditions
- Able to wear required PPE, i.e., hard hats, safety vest, work boots, and/or safety glasses/goggles while working as required by the job
- Ability to be available for shift work, weekends, evenings, holidays
Desired Qualifications

- CDL
- PACP/MACP/LACP certifications
