Job Summary
Responsibilities encompass designing, implementing, and maintaining wired and wireless LANs in a DoD/security-focused environment. Conduct site surveys to plan device placement, ensure operation of IT and network infrastructure, install and maintain computer systems, servers, and networks, and perform tests to verify performance and security. Collaborate with technical teams to implement base configurations, develop and update documentation, support CCTV/VTC systems, manage IP space, report on network health, and provide end-user support. Requires DoD clearance, 6+ years of relevant experience, 8570 IAT Level I/II, willingness to support 24/7 operations with shift/weekend work, and US citizenship. Knowledge of Aruba equipment is a plus and willingness to travel/operate in a 24/7 environment.
Required Qualifications
- DoD Secret/ Public Trust clearance required
- DoD 8570 IAT Level I or II compliant
- High School plus specialized training
- 6+ years of experience in networking/ IT
- Experience with general networking and network administration
- CCNA or CWNP certifications are a plus
- Knowledge of Arub a networking equipment is a plus
- Strong technical writing skills (reports in MS Office/ Visio)
- Ability to climb a 10ft ladder and lift 40lbs
- Must be US citizenship
