Job Summary
CCTV Project Technician responsible for installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining commercial CCTV and networking systems. Duties include running low-voltage Cat 6 cabling, installing conduit, drilling concrete walls for cable pathways, wiring MDFs, configuring network equipment, and performing system tests to ensure compliance with contracts and local/state/federal codes. Collaborates with Installation Team Leads and Project Managers, supports schedules and equipment delivery, and may travel for projects. Required Qualifications
- Current, valid state Physical Security license and/or Life Safety license is a plus
- Valid driver’s license with a clean record (no DUI/DWI within last 3 years)
- Deep knowledge of cabling infrastructure, blueprints, site maps, and closeout documentation
- Safety certifications to operate a boom or scissor lift and comfortable working at heights
- Own basic telecommunication tools, PPE, and reliable transit for initial training
- Availability: Flexible and fully available for project-related travel
