CCTV Project Technician

Job Summary
CCTV Project Technician responsible for installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining commercial CCTV and networking systems. Perform low-voltage cabling (Cat 6), install conduit, read blueprints, set up Main Distribution Frames (MDFs), and troubleshoot network switches to ensure systems meet customer contracts and local/state/federal codes. Collaborate with Installation Team Leads and Project Managers; travel as required with per-diem when overnight travel is necessary. Requires deep knowledge of cabling infrastructure, site maps, and closeout documentation, plus safety certifications for operating lifts and working at heights. Full-time position with company benefits, vehicle when applicable, and opportunities for certification and career advancement.
Required Qualifications
- Current, valid state Physical Security license and/or Life Safety license is a plus
- Valid driver's license with a clean record (no DUI/DWI within last 3 years)
- Deep knowledge of cabling infrastructure, blueprints, site maps, and closeout documentation
- Certified (or willing to get certified in orientation class) to operate a boom or scissor lift and comfortable working at heights
- Own basic telecommunication tools, PPE, and reliable transit for initial training period
- Availability: Flexible and fully available for project-related travel
