Job Summary
Load and prepare equipment for upcoming jobs, then set up and operate sewer cleaning machines, including lifting hoses, climbing units, and performing minor maintenance. Operate mobile television and chemical sealing units to conduct internal sewer line inspections and seal defects. Place traffic barricades, remove manhole covers, and thread cables through lines to televise sewer sections while adjusting camera controls for clarity. Document sewer defects and record pertinent data. Determine supplies, mix chemicals, operate packers, and clean and store all equipment on the van truck after use. Duties involve standing, kneeling, or bending for long periods outdoors in all weather conditions year-round. Valid driver's license and background checks required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year of related experience or training
- Possession of, or ability to obtain, a valid State of Residence Driver's License
- Pass criminal and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) background checks
- Pass a pre-employment drug screen
