Job Summary
Load and prepare equipment for upcoming jobs, then set up and operate sewer cleaning units, including lifting hoses, climbing on the unit, and performing minor maintenance. Operate mobile television and chemical sealing units to conduct internal sewer line inspections, seal defects, and prevent water infiltration. Place traffic barricades, remove manhole covers, and thread cables through sewer lines to televise the line. Adjust camera controls for optimum clarity, record defect descriptions, and prepare packers to release sealing compounds. Clean and store all camera, chemical, and equipment on the van truck after use. Duties involve standing, kneeling, or bending for long periods outdoors in all weather conditions year-round. Valid driver's license required within two weeks of employment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year of related experience or training
- Possession of, or ability to obtain, a valid State of Residence Driver's License
- Pass criminal and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) background checks
- Pass a pre-employment drug screen
