Job Summary
Assess and treat critically ill or injured adult and pediatric patients during inter-facility transportation while utilizing critical thinking to manage complex situations and support physician orders. Provide care aligned with the Registered Nurse scope of practice, maintain a safe and well-stocked environment through regular equipment checks, and collaborate professionally with allied health and public safety personnel. Act as team leader to ensure patient safety and monitor transport conditions. Maintain required certifications including ACLS, PALS, BLS-C, and obtain PHTLS and NRP certification within six months. Requires current RN license, valid driver's license, and minimum two years of ICU or CCT experience. Full-time role in Central, AZ with immediate hiring.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid Driver's License
- Current Registered Nurse license
- Minimum 2 years of ICU RN or 5 years ED/CCT/ Cardiac/Trauma RN experience (Non-negotiable)
- Current ACLS, PALS, BLS-C (or equivalent) provider status
- PHTLS and NRP Provider Certification (must obtain within 6 months of hire)
- ICS courses, refer to FEMA - IS-100B (ICS 100), IS-700A (NIMS)
- Critical care inter-facility transfer experience; CEN, CCRN, TNCC, or ENC Certification; BTLS/PHTL
