Job Summary
Assess and treat critically ill or injured adult and pediatric patients during inter-facility transportation, utilizing critical thinking to manage complex situations and support physician orders. Provide care aligned with Registered Nurse scope of practice and CCT standardized procedures while acting as team leader to maintain a safe, clean, and well-stocked environment. Collaborate professionally with allied health and public safety personnel, ensuring regular equipment checks and stock management. Maintain required certifications including ACLS, PALS, BLS-C, and obtain PHTLS/NRP within six months. This full-time role offers $5K sign-on bonus and $38.11–$56.57 hourly pay in Central, AZ, with paid shift differentials and training.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid Driver's License
- Current Registered Nurse license
- Minimum 2 years of ICU RN or 5 years ED/CCT/ Cardiac/Trauma RN experience (Non-negotiable)
- Current ACLS, PALS, BLS-C (or equivalent) provider status
- PHTLS and NRP Provider Certification (must obtain within 6 months of hire)
- ICS courses, refer to FEMA - IS-100B (ICS 100), IS-700A (NIMS)
- Critical care inter-facility transfer experience; CEN, CCRN, TNCC, or ENC Certification; BTLS/PHTL
