Job Summary
Assess and treat patients in critical care situations during inter-facility transportation while acting as team leader to maintain a safe, clean, and well-stocked environment. Utilize critical thinking skills to manage critically ill or injured adult or pediatric patients, support physician orders, and provide care aligned with the Registered Nurse scope of practice. Collaborate professionally with all allied health and public safety personnel. Maintain required certifications and ongoing training, including ACLS, PALS, BLS-C, PHTLS, and NRP. Full-time position in Central, AZ with immediate hiring, $5K sign-on bonus, and hourly rate of $38.11 to $56.57.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid Driver's License
- Current Registered Nurse license
- Minimum 2 years of ICU RN or 5 years ED/CCT/ Cardiac/Trauma RN experience (Non-negotiable)
- Current ACLS, PALS, BLS-C (or equivalent) provider status
- PHTLS and NRP Provider Certification (must obtain within 6 months of hire)
- ICS courses, refer to FEMA - IS-100B (ICS 100), IS-700A (NIMS)
- Critical care inter-facility transfer experience; CEN, CCRN, TNCC, or ENC Certification; BTLS/PHTL
