Job Summary
Assess and treat critically ill or injured adult and pediatric patients during inter-facility transportation while maintaining Registered Nurse scope of practice and standardized procedures. Utilize critical thinking to manage complex cases, support physician orders, and act as team leader ensuring a safe, well-stocked environment with regular equipment checks. Collaborate professionally with allied health and public safety personnel while maintaining required certifications including ACLS, PALS, BLS-C, PHTLS, and NRP. Requires current RN license, valid driver's license, and minimum two years of ICU or CCT experience. Full-time role with $5K sign-on bonus, shift differentials, and paid training.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid Driver's License
- Current Registered Nurse license
- Minimum 2 years of ICU RN or 5 years ED/CCT/ Cardiac/Trauma RN experience (Non-negotiable)
- Current ACLS, PALS, BLS-C (or equivalent) provider status
- PHTLS and NRP Provider Certification (must obtain within 6 months of hire)
- ICS courses, refer to FEMA - IS-100B (ICS 100), IS-700A (NIMS)
- Critical care inter-facility transfer experience; CEN, CCRN, TNCC, or ENC Certification; BTLS/PHTL
