CCTE Classroom Teacher

Create an educational environment conducive to learning and prepare instructional materials for assigned classes. Establish classroom behavior standards and maintain management both inside and outside the school. Assess student accomplishments on a timetable, provide progress reports to parents and administrators, and administer tests. Plan curriculum and lessons to meet individual student needs based on educational and emotional levels. Instruct students using strategies to improve sensory, perceptual-motor, language, communication, cognition, and social development. Motivate students, reinforce learning skills, and provide continuous assessment and feedback. Confers with parents, administrators, and specialists to develop educational programs. Maintain accurate records as required by law and district regulations. Sponsor student activities, clubs, and teams, and tutor students as requested.
