Job Summary
Critical Care Transport Registered Nurse to perform essential life support, advanced life support, and critical care nursing during inter-facility ambulance transport. Responsibilities include direct patient care for adults and pediatrics requiring cardiac monitoring, IV medications, and ventilators; assess and determine best course of action per RN scope of practice; work collaboratively with physicians, allied health, and public safety personnel; and perform other duties as assigned. Requires California RN license, ACLS/PALS/BLS certifications, and a minimum of 2 years ICU or ED experience (preferred). Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment. Job types include Full-Time, Part-Time, and Per Diem with starts as soon as possible; location in San Marcos, CA with relocation to San Diego, CA possible. Salary starts at $55 per hour (annualized to $114,400) with benefits including paid sick leave, 401(k), and health, dental, and vision insurance.
Required Qualifications
- California Registered Nurse license (RN)
- ACLS, PALS, and BLS certifications (Required)
- RN license (Required)
- Minimum 2 years ICU or ED experience (Preferred)
- Ability to lift up to 100 pounds (physical requirement)
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment
- Good organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Ability to work with diverse teams and public safety personnel
