Job Summary
Provide consultative telephonic and web-based customer service support in health benefits exchange administration. Serve as a Subject Matter Expert for PCMI, State Provided Programs, and HealthCare.Gov; guide Agents, Certified Enrollment Counselors, and federal/state agencies from sign-up to termination; troubleshoot eligibility issues and application problems; adhere to call center quality guidelines; document interactions in the database; collaborate to implement process improvements annually; maintain HIPAA-compliant workstation and required security measures; ensure reliable internet connectivity and IT hygiene to support uninterrupted service.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- 1 to 3 years of experience in customer service within a call center environment
- Experience in the healthcare industry is a plus
- Knowledge of Health Benefits Exchange (HBEX), eligibility requirements and the enrollment processes preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with clear speaking voice
- Ability to learn new software and navigate multiple systems; CRM software experience preferred
- Ability to work in a HIPAA-compliant environment
- Bilingual abilities a plus (Spanish, Chinese, Korean, Vietnamese)
- Ability to meet and maintain service metrics and performance objectives
- Proficiency with data entry and documentation in a CRM system
