Job Summary
Operate CMS Expander and related equipment to expand coils; make adjustments per drawings, quality, safety and methods procedures; may assemble coil slabs internal to expander. Read blueprints, perform arithmetic calculations, identify tooling, inspect first production piece, monitor conformance to standards, and assist in training other personnel. Requires lifting up to 50 lbs, standing/walking, and flexibility to work any hours; onsite/hybrid work arrangement with Modine in Racine, WI.
Required Qualifications
- Requires ability to make mathematic calculations, comprehend decimals and read blue prints
- Must be able to correct tool wear and report issues
- Must be able to read blue prints
- Must be able to make basic adjustments to equipment to keep process in control
- Must be able to lift/push up to 50 lbs
- Majority of position requires standing and walking; bending and stooping required
- Must be able to work any hours required
- Assist in training other personnel if required
