Job Summary
VP within the Data Strategy Team leading CCOR data owner initiatives. Drives data strategies to support business operations, governance, and risk management. Owns data product lines (including CCOR Data Lake) from requirements to delivery, ensures data is well-documented, protected, retained, and of high quality. Oversees risk mitigation across data lifecycle, collaborates with CDO and technology teams to design tools for data management, develops prototypes for data visualization and automation with CCOR Digital teams, and leads staff. Requires strong leadership, stakeholder management, SQL proficiency, and familiarity with data visualization tools; cloud experience and AI/ML familiarity are a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field, OR equivalent professional experience in data management, data governance, risk management/analytics, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in data management, data governance, risk management/analytics, or a related field
- Proven leadership track record, demonstrated ability to manage delivery timelines, and ensure the organization is on track to meet goals
- In-depth understanding of data management principles, governance frameworks, and lifecycle management, including data protection, data quality and data classification
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, translating complex data concepts into business strategies
- Strong communication skills, effectively conveying data concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders, as well as senior audiences
- Strong leadership skills with experience in managing and mentoring cross-functional teams
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and manage large-scale data projects
- Experience working on large scale data lake / data-warehousing projects
- Hands on SQL writing knowledge is required
- Preferred: Experience with Tableau, QlikView, Thoughtspot or other reporting and analytics tools; Experience with AI/ML techniques; knowledge of data and process modeling techniques; Experience with cloud-based data platforms and technologies, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
