Job Summary
CCIE Network Engineer responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining large-scale WAN/LAN infrastructures across multiple sites with SD-WAN transformations, implementing Next-Gen Firewalls and Zero Trust architectures, configuring hybrid cloud connectivity (Azure, AWS), and monitoring performance with SolarWinds and related tools. Leads cross-functional teams, mentors junior engineers, and collaborates with stakeholders on global network/security projects. Key skills include Cisco ASA/Firepower, Fortinet, Palo Alto firewalls, VPNs (IPSec/DMVPN/GRE), Zscaler ZIA/ZPA/ZDX, NAC/ISE with AD/PKI, BGP/OSPF/EIGRP routing, VRFs, vPC, HSRP, VLANs, CUCM, MS Teams, and automation scripting (Python, Ansible). Expected to demonstrate extensive experience in PCI DSS, ITIL, ISO standards, cloud networking (AWS/Azure), and public Trust processes.
Required Qualifications
- CCIE Network certification (or equivalent)
- Hands-on experience in enterprise network design and operations
- Zero Trust & Zscaler: 4+ years implementing/troubleshooting ZIA/ZPA/ZDX including authentication flows, SSL inspection, DNS/routing, identity integrations (SAML/SCIM), App Segments, Connectors, and traffic-forwarding methods
- Security & Compliance: PCI DSS, ITIL, ISO standards, and supporting internal/external audits
- Cloud & SD-WAN: AWS/Azure cloud networking, hybrid connectivity, and multi-vendor SD-WAN solutions
- Monitoring Tools: SolarWinds for network performance and security monitoring
- Ability to obtain a Public Trust
- Routing, switching, and firewall technologies (Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet)
- Experience with VPN solutions (IPSec, DMVPN, GRE)
- NAC/ISE with AD/PKI for secure authentication and posture compliance
- Experience with collaboration systems (Cisco CUCM, MS Teams)
- Experience with hybrid cloud connectivity (Azure vWAN, ExpressRoute, AWS Direct Connect)
- DevOps scripting (Python, Ansible) for automation
- Leadership & Collaboration: leading cross-functional teams and vendor engagement
