Job Summary
Applied AI ML Lead in JPMorgan Chase's CCB Product & Transformation team, focusing on building cutting-edge products and quantitative models to support Chase Finance & Business Management. Responsibilities include applying advanced analytics to solve complex business problems, generating insights from data and business processes, contributing to full modeling lifecycle (defining objectives, selecting methodologies, performing quantitative analysis, and communicating results), developing presentations for senior management, becoming a subject-matter expert in statistical/optimization/AI modeling, fostering continuous learning, and mentoring junior team members. Requires 5+ years of experience, an advanced quantitative degree, experience in AI/optimization/statistical modeling (e.g., classifications, regressions, recommender systems, NLP, neural language modeling), proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language, strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to influence project stakeholders. Preferred qualifications include a Ph.D. in Data Science, AI, or CS and Python proficiency. Relocation is not offered for this role. Location: New York, NY, United States.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of related experience
- Advanced degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Operations Research, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering or equivalent quantitative field
- Experience in developing Artificial Intelligence, optimization, and/or statistical models
- Proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language
- Strong analytical, interpretive, and problem-solving skills with ability to communicate findings
- Outstanding written and oral communication skills to present analytical findings and influence stakeholders
