Job Summary

Non-supervisory CBRN Training and Equipment Coordinator responsible for coordinating with stakeholders, managing equipment, planning logistics, developing training protocols, reporting situational and after-action information, and supporting surge deployments and NSSE. Travel to CONUS/OCONUS sites (Fort Dix NJ; Herndon VA; Indianapolis IN; Mobile AL; Novato CA; Portland OR; Denver CO; Washington DC); 24/7 shift work and recall during contingencies may be required. Requires active security clearance, CDL B or ability to obtain, 5+ years CBRN operational planning and equipment experience, proficiency with radiation detection equipment, and ability to travel 50%+ annually. Promotes adherence to MDDP, CWMD, and DHS policies; capable of leading training and presenting information to stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

  • Active Secret Security Clearance
  • Commercial Driver's License Class B (CDL B) or ability to obtain within 3 months following contract award
  • 5+ years CBRN experience in the operational planning and coordination of detection and preventative activities
  • 5 years’ hands-on equipment experience including use of primary and secondary screening devices spectroscopic devices, and chemical identification equipment utilizing FTIR and Raman technologies
  • Be able to read, write, and speak English fluently
  • Demonstrate excellent leadership qualities, public speaking and presentation skills, verbal and writing skills will be of an excellent aptitude when producing documents and providing presentations
  • Possess National Incident Management System (NIMS) and Incident Command Structure (ICS) certifications and courses (i.e. ICS 100, 200, 700)
  • Valid primary and secondary screener preventative certifications
  • Possess at least one basic radiation fundamental training program certification
  • Demonstrate excellent decision making and critical thinking skills
  • Able to operate in a high-paced environment with deadlines
  • Ability to travel over 50% during the year
