CBRF | CNA | PCW | Resident Assistant | Med Passer

Caregiver/CNA/PCW/Resident Assistant and Med Passer responsibilities include reading and understanding individualized service plans (ISPs) and providing resident support per ISPs; assisting with grooming, bathing, oral hygiene, eating, incontinence care, toileting, colostomy care, prosthetic appliances, transferring, ambulating, range of motion, and communication; promptly responding to residents' pages and alarms; performing assigned tasks such as resident care, medication administration (if med passer delegated by RN), vitals collection, laundry, cleaning, and dining room setup; ability to lift 50-100 lbs, stand/walk for long periods, and perform bending/kneeling/crouching; must speak, write, and read English; high school diploma or GED is required; CNA certification desirable but not required along with CBRF course completion; pre-employment and annual testing and regulatory training are required.
