Job Summary
Provide resident care per individualized service plans (ISPs) for each resident, including assistance with grooming, bathing, oral hygiene, eating, incontinence care, toileting, colostomy care, prosthetic appliances, transferring, ambulating, and range of motion as identified by ISPs. Respond promptly to residents' pages and alarms; perform tasks such as administering medications (if med passer and delegated by RN), checking vital signs, collecting specimens, laundry, dining room setup, and other care duties. Must frequently lift/move 50–100 lbs and be able to stand/walk for long periods with frequent bending and kneeling; English speaking/writing; high school diploma or GED. CNA certification desirable but not required; completion of CBRF courses desirable but not required. Must meet pre-employment and annual training and regulatory requirements; provided in-house training and state-required CBRF classes.
