Job Summary
Submit all documentation in a timely, accurate, and complete manner while understanding Medicaid requirements and billing processes. Assist with clinical intakes, treatment planning from intake to discharge, and completing accurate client records per regulations. Conduct safety planning, submit critical incidents, and perform assessments for medical necessity using core software applications. Collaborate with the treatment team, attend meetings, and consult with parents or school personnel to address client diagnoses and barriers. Participate in clinical supervision and develop an overarching internship project that benefits both the learner and Necco's community outreach goals.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 21 Years of Age
- Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in a Human Services-related field
- Currently enrolled in a Mental health graduate program (MSW, MS, Counseling)
- Valid Driver's License
- Auto Insurance 100/300/100
- Training and Travel willingness
- Excellent organizational and technological skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Successful completion of all required criminal background checks
- Must possess the skills to navigate and execute software programs (i.e Microsoft Office, Database, Electronic Health Record, Dashboard)
- Must have the ability to identify issues and willingness to discuss with appropriate teammates
- Must have the ability to enter timely and accurate data
- Must have the ability to adhere to scheduled and unplanned deadlines
