Job Summary
Conduct efficient packing on a fast-paced production line while ensuring compliance with safety protocols and identifying defects to maintain food safety standards. Rotate among workstations every 30 minutes across wet and dry areas, performing roles such as sanitation, loader, catcher, and palletizer. Inspect products for quality and foreign material contamination, ensuring packaging dispensers are stocked with tubs, lids, labels, and boxes. Transport materials using a cart to designated workstations and report any issues to the operator, Lead, or Supervisor. Work 40+ hours per week in temperatures of 40°F or lower, wearing designated PPE including a plastic apron, sleeves, hair net, earplugs, and gloves.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to communicate effectively with other packers
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work in temperatures of 40 degrees Fahrenheit or lower
- Capacity to lift up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to work 40 or more hours per week
- Capability to lift, push, pull, stoop, bend, crouch, turn, stand, and walk for over 8 hours each day
