Job Summary
Pack products on a fast-paced production line while wearing designated PPE, including plastic aprons, sleeves, hair nets, earplugs, and latex gloves. Rotate among wet and dry side stations every 30 minutes, performing tasks such as sanitation, rework, loader, catcher, box maker, and leak and case checking. Inspect products for quality and foreign material contamination, ensure packaging dispensers are stocked, and transport materials using a cart. Report issues to the operator, Lead, or Supervisor, and perform other duties as assigned when the line is not in operation. Work 40+ hours per week in temperatures of 40°F or lower, lifting up to 50 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to communicate effectively with other packers
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work in temperatures of 40 degrees Fahrenheit or lower
- Capacity to lift up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to work 40 or more hours per week
- Capability to lift, push, pull, stoop, bend, crouch, turn, stand, and walk for over 8 hours each day
