Job Summary
The CBA Maintenance Records Clerk will maintain appropriate records of all work accomplished, including efficient entry of electronic data into NALCOMIS/OOMA. Responsibilities also include performing administrative and clerical duties, ensuring compliance with Navy instructions and quality management systems, and providing technical assistance to personnel. Candidates must have aviation clerical experience, possess knowledge of aircraft maintenance records, and be customer-oriented. The position requires the ability to type a minimum of thirty-five words per minute and interface with Government Representatives.
Required Qualifications
- Two years aviation clerical experience
- Satisfactory completion of U.S. Armed Forces aviation clerical courses or equivalent curriculum
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance
- Functional knowledge of computer operation and data entry skills
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of COMNAVAIRFORINST 4790.2 Series
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
- Familiarity with aircraft maintenance records and technical manuals
Additional Requirements
- Must be able to work weekends, other shifts, and overtime as required
- Some travel will be required
