Job Summary
CBA Aircraft Servicer responsibilities include launching and recovering aircraft, performing inspections, fueling (gravity fill and closed circuit), servicing engine oil and hydraulic systems, assisting with aircraft movement, washing and lubricating aircraft, and participating in engine rinse and airfield tasks. The role requires familiarity with portable fire fighting equipment, use of safety gear around hazardous materials, adherence to FOD prevention and Tool Control Program, maintaining clean work areas, and maintaining records. The position may involve off-site service at detachments, and may require simple computer input. Supervisory lead duties may be assigned at management discretion. When stationed at outlying fields, duties include maintaining communications with line supervision, potential aircraft door removal/reinstallation, and gravity/hot fueling at remote fields. The role requires strong English communication, ability to travel up to 50%, rotating shifts, and a valid driver’s license. Required Qualifications
- minimum HS diploma
- 1 year aircraft experience and/or accredited air frame and power plant license; or completion of a military Aviation "A" School; or 1 year experience with OJT certification on selected tasks
- basic mechanical aptitude
- ability to pass Plane Captain Board
- read, write, speak and understand English
- ability to obtain and maintain government clearance
- 50% travel requirement
- ability to work rotating shifts
- valid state driver’s license
