Job Summary
Develops and expands work-based learning opportunities for high school students by collaborating with CTE leadership, industry partners, postsecondary institutions, and community organizations to connect students with real-world experiences that strengthen academic, technical, and employability skills. Responsible for tracking student participation and outcomes, maintaining required documentation, collecting feedback, and using data to improve program effectiveness and expand access to high-quality career readiness opportunities aligned with the school’s LCFF/LCAP goals. Supports career readiness programming, student certifications (including national certifications), and postsecondary planning while promoting equitable access to opportunities for unduplicated pupils. Manages partnerships, resources, and scheduling of activities to enhance employability skills and postsecondary readiness; collaborates with leadership to evaluate program impact and ensure alignment with student interests and goals.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Experience in CTE or related field
- Experience in Work-Based Learning
- Superior organizational skills/detail oriented
- Able to balance and complete multiple projects within given deadlines
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and TVS
- Self-directed but comfortable working as part of a team
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
