Job Summary
Conduct commercial walkout surveys to define routes from existing plant to customers, documenting construction requirements for aerial and underground telecommunications including fiber, coax, poles, and pedestals. Ensure all tasks are completed in accordance with customer and industry specifications by obtaining field information, verifying records, and noting all construction types along proposed routes. Perform daily field assignments over varying terrain and in all weather conditions while communicating professionally with customers. Requires a valid driver's license, 100% travel willingness, and proficiency in MS Office and digital drawing software like Bluebeam.
Required Qualifications
- Commercial Survey experience
- Valid driver's license
- Good driving record
- Willingness to travel 100%
Desired Qualifications
- 2+ years of cable mapping experience
- Knowledge of cable design and OSP basic construction practices of cable systems
- Ability to read and interpret maps, drawings, and diagrams associated with CATV projects
- Strong analytical, observational, and communication skills
- Good computer skills with proficiency in MS Excel, Word, Outlook, & PDF Editor
- Ability to learn new software and technologies
- Ability to draw digitally in software programs like Bluebeam
- High responsibility

- Ability to work independently within minimal supervision
- Ability to communicate with customers in a professional manner
