Job Summary
Receiving live cattle into pens, moving them between areas and into the restrainer, stunting cattle humanely per company standards, and attaching shackles safely. Communicate clearly with coworkers and leaders while maintaining strict compliance with humane animal handling and all safety regulations. Notify supervisors of maintenance or environmental issues throughout the shift and contribute to a clean, safe work environment. Maintain accurate documentation and uphold the "Creekstone Proud" culture through attitude and actions. This role requires standing or walking eight hours daily on concrete, unlevel, or elevated platforms, and lifting up to 100 pounds. Candidates must be willing to work with live animals, withstand extreme temperatures, and wear necessary PPE including hard hats and safety-toe boots.
Required Qualifications

- Must maintain correct, and accurate documentation where appropriate
- Must follow all Company policies and procedures without fail
- Must be willing to work with live animals and the tools to move them safely and humanely
- Must be able to withstand extreme temperatures and work in a loud environment
- Gripping, grasping, and lifting or pushing up to 100 pounds is required
- Climbing, stooping, crouching; standing and walking for 8 or more hours per day

- able to Lift 0 – 100+lbs occassionally
- able to work in hot and cold environment
- wear necessary personal protective equipment (PPE) – hard hat, safety-toe boots, safety goggles, hair/beard net, etc.
Desired Qualifications
- Meat Industry or live cattle handling experience preferred
