Job Summary
Coordinate Catholic religious education programs at USAG Hawaii by preparing monthly calendars, developing program flyers, and tracking attendance for regular and seasonal events including Advent, Christmas, and Vacation Bible School. Manage logistical support by formatting curriculum materials, distributing supplies, resetting classrooms, and collecting sacramental records for digital entry into the AMS portal. Facilitate program delivery through 100% participation in monthly COR meetings, Parish Council reviews, and In Progress reviews. Submit facility reservation requests and attendance reports by specified deadlines while maintaining alignment with Archdiocese for the Military Services policies. Work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the event calendar.
Required Qualifications
- Be a practicing Roman Catholic in good standing
- Understand the liturgical and sacramental requirements of the church
- Be competent with computer programs such as MS Word, Excel and Facebook
- Be willing to undergo a background check
- Have demonstrable devotion to the church and its teachings
- Tier 1 with State Criminal History Repository (SCHR) background check
