Job Summary
Celebrate Catholic Masses, Holy Day services, and other liturgical celebrations while administering sacraments including Reconciliation, Baptism, Matrimony, Anointing of the Sick, and Funeral Rites. Provide pastoral counseling, spiritual guidance, and ministry support to community members, delivering homilies and religious instruction consistent with Catholic teachings. Coordinate ministry programs, oversee the Religious Education and Music Directors, and maintain accurate records and documentation. Foster a welcoming environment that supports spiritual growth and faith development within the chapel setting at McConnell AFB, KS.
Required Qualifications
- Ordained Roman Catholic Priest in good standing with the Catholic Church
- Ability to perform Catholic sacramental ministry and worship services
- Experience providing pastoral care, counseling, and religious leadership
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively with diverse populations and age groups
- Ability to manage ministry activities and collaborate with volunteers and program staff
- Must successfully complete all required onboarding and screening requirements
