Job Summary
Assist physicians during diagnostic and therapeutic cardiovascular procedures, preparing rooms and operating advanced imaging systems including X-ray, hemodynamic monitoring, ultrasound, and power injectors. Monitor patients and respond confidently in emergency situations while educating families with professionalism. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, participate in quality assurance initiatives, and uphold HIPAA standards. Take part in on-call responsibilities requiring a 30-minute response time. This role supports the Cardiac Catheterization Lab at Vail Health's 56-bed hospital in Vail, Colorado, where you will work alongside expert physicians in a high-acuity environment.
Required Qualifications
- RCIS or ARRT certification and registration
- ACLS certification
- BLS certification
- 2+ years of Cath Lab experience preferred
- English proficiency (reading, writing, speaking)
- Basic computer proficiency (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
- 30-minute response time required
