Job Summary
Cath Lab Technician assists physicians during cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures, operating specialized equipment (fluoroscopy, IVUS, hemodynamic monitoring), monitors patients' vital signs, prepares equipment and patients, and documents procedures. Maintains radiation safety and infection control, administers contrast media under physician direction, participates in quality improvement, supports equipment maintenance, and provides post-procedural patient care. Requires 1-2 years of cath lab experience and relevant licensure/certifications (CVT/CRT/RN) with BCLS; ACLS and ARRT preferred. Full-time role based in Key West, FL with day shifts and rotating weekends/holidays.
Required Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab or cardiovascular diagnostic setting
- CVT - Cardiovascular Tech required OR CRT - Certified Radiologic Technologist required OR RN - Registered Nurse licensure required
- BCLS - Basic Life Support certification required
