Job Summary
Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization, PCI, and EP procedures while operating hemodynamic monitoring equipment, imaging systems, and specialized cardiovascular tools like contrast injectors and IABPs. Prepare sterile fields, instruments, and catheters in advance of procedures, then monitor patient vital signs and hemodynamic data to report changes to the care team. Document procedures accurately in the electronic health record and participate in on-call rotations to support emergent cardiovascular cases. This full-time, permanent onsite role in Happy Valley, OR requires current RCIS or RCES certification and one year of cath lab experience.
Required Qualifications
- RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) or RCES (Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist) certification
- 1+ years of cath lab or cardiovascular invasive procedure experience
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Ability to work onsite in Happy Valley, OR on a full-time, permanent basis
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in both diagnostic cath and interventional (PCI, structural heart) procedures
- EP lab or ablation procedure experience
- Familiarity with hemodynamic monitoring platforms (Philips, GE, Siemens)
- Experience with TAVR, Watchman, or other structural heart device procedures
