Job Summary
Monitor real-time physiological data, including heart rhythms and blood pressures, to instantly detect critical status changes during complex procedures. Execute accurate hemodynamic calculations and cardiac output assessments to equip the care team with vital diagnostic data. Prepare, maintain, and manage specialized cardiovascular supplies while upholding strict aseptic technique and infection control protocols. Partner closely with interventional cardiologists by anticipating procedural needs and adapting quickly to evolving case dynamics. Educate patients and their families on post-procedure care, catheter site monitoring, and activity guidelines to ensure a safe recovery. Full-time day shift at Ascension Saint Thomas Midtown in Nashville, TN.
Required Qualifications
- Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date
- Certified Cardiographic Tech credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date
- Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date
- High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience
- Associate's degree/Technical degree
- 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience
