Job Summary
Assist in patient care during cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures by performing EKGs, transporting patients, and providing assistance with activities of daily living. Execute technical duties including phlebotomy, vital signs monitoring, and point of care testing while communicating patient status changes to the registered nurse. Maintain regulatory readiness and support departmental goals and performance improvement projects. Requires high school diploma, certified nursing assistant or critical care technician course completion, and BLS certification. EKG certification is obtained during orientation and maintained throughout employment. PRN status with M-F flex shifts; hourly rate ranges from $21.00 to $33.00.
