Job Summary
Conduct diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, operating advanced imaging equipment to capture heart and vasculature data while assisting physicians and Cath Lab personnel. Manage a daily caseload of approximately 12 cases, supporting STEMI care, coronary stents, vascular procedures, and device implantations including ICDs, pacemakers, and loop recorders. Work Monday through Friday in a 5x8 schedule from 07:00 to 15:30 with rotational on-call requirements. Requires ARRT certification, 3+ years of cardiac cath lab scrub experience, and BLS/ACLS credentials.
Required Qualifications
- ARRT certified Radiologic Technologist
- Cardiac Cath Lab experience as a scrub tech for at least 3 years
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a Cath Lab hospital setting
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification
- State licensure as required
- Experience with diagnostic cardiac procedures
- Experience with coronary stents
- Experience with STEMI care
- Experience with vascular procedures
- Experience with ICDs
- Experience with pacemakers
- Experience with loop recorder insertion
- Experience with carotid stenting
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 5x8s
- Shift hours: 07:00 - 15:30
- On-call requirement: rotational on-call; rotational weekends (every 4th weekend) and one weekday on-call shift
- Daily caseload: approximately 12 cases per tech
- Locals within a 75-mile radius are not accepted
- One segment of time off permitted per contract (RTO restriction)
Desired Qualifications
- American Heart Association preferred
- Experience with EPIC charting
- Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)
- Experience in acute care hospital settings with moderate to high daily caseloads
